Who are we?

Knowledge Platform for Sustainable Energy (KDE) is an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to the objective and evidence-based assessment of sustainable energy systems, services and the associated regulations. KDE operates on the basis of a pragmatic-scientific approach, drawing on the expertise and facilities of KIWA.

The foundation aims to accelerate the energy transition by separating facts from assumptions. In doing so, KDE contributes to better-informed choices in both market applications and policy-making.
